Advocating for Health Coverage for Tennessee's Kids!
United Ways of Tennessee is proud to have accepted the Connecting Kids to Coverage Challenge. Preventing cuts to children's health programs in our state is a top priority for our state association. This includes SCHIP, mental health, intellectual disabilities, dental care and other coverage issues. In addition to local and community-based advocacy, we are collaborating with the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth and many other agencies and organizations to preserve our children's service infrastructure. Our statewide 2-1-1 system has a tremendous impact on helping families identify and access their available benefits for their children.
