Connecting Kids to Coverage, administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and text4baby have joined forces to make it easier for moms to take charge of their family’s health. On Tuesday, February 28, we will be launching an exciting partnership between text4baby and Connecting Kids to Coverage, a campaign of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to enroll the nearly five million uninsured children eligible for Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). By connecting the nation's largest children's health coverage programs to the largest national mobile maternal health education program, we will be empowering moms to take charge of their family's health. The kick-off will include a national press event and Connecting Kids to Coverage and Text4baby Enrollment Day, a nationwide enrollment drive to connect families to health coverage and information to give their babies a strong start. Local Medicaid agencies and text4baby partners will simultaneously hold local events around the country for the enrollment day, with a goal of enrolling families in Medicaid/CHIP and text4baby.
